172.00. Feeder bulls: 400-500 lbs 157.50-189.00; 500-600 lbs 148.00-167.00.
Feeder heifers: 400-500 lbs 150.00-172.00; 500-600 lbs 138.00-153.00. Slaughter
cows and bulls steady to 3.00 higher. Breakers 75-80% 87.00-97.50; Boners 80-
85% 88.50-98.00; Lean 85-90% 84.00-90.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Large 1-2 1210-1310
lbs young to middle age cows with 105-245 lbs calves 1310.00-1700.00 per pair.
Small and Medium 1-2 785-950 lbs young to middle age cows with 100-365 lbs
calves 990.00-1510.00 per pair.
Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct Barrows &
Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs at 61.97, down 0.41. Sows live price 300-450
lbs 46.67; 450-500 lbs 54.55; 500-550 lbs 56.84.
SC Grain on Wednesday. Corn was 2 to 3 cents lower; processor bids 5.79-6.59.
Soybeans were 8 to 16 cents lower; processor bid 14.06. Wheat was steady to 4
lower; processor bids 5.59-7.00.
Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 was 67.91, down 1.89.
