***The livestock auctions are closed this week for the New Years Day Holiday. They
will be open next week as normal.
Hogs on Wednesday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows &
Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 61.72, down 0.20. Sows live price 300-450 lbs
46.38; 450-500 lbs 54.82; 500-550 lbs 57.23.
SC Grain on Thursday. Corn was 1 cent lower, processor bids 7.10-7.84.
Soybeans were 2 to 8 cents lower, elevator bids 13.03-13.58, processor bid 13.78.
New crop Wheat was 3 to 5 cents lower, elevator bids 6.70-7.21.
Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 was 72.89, up 0.03.
