Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder cattle steady to 3.00 lower. Feeder
steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 149.00-186.00; 500-600 lbs 135.00-159.00.
Feeder bulls: 400-500 lbs 133.00-182.50; 500-600 lbs 130.00-156.00. Feeder heifers:
400-500 lbs 127.50-153.00; 500-600 lbs 120.00-144.00. Slaughter cows and bulls steady
to 2.00 lower. Breakers 75-80% lean 70.00-79.50; Boners 80-85% lean 70.00-79.50; Lean
85-90% lean 63.00-76.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1-2 780-1270 lbs young to
middle age cows with 120-240 lbs calves 1000.00-1475.00 per pair. Smal 1-2 1000-1010
lbs young to middle age cows with 150-180 lbs calves 850.00-930.00 per pair.
Hogs on Monday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows & Gilts
US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 62.10, down 1.12. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 46.60,
450-500 lbs 52.39, 500-550 lbs 54.42.
SC Grain on Tuesday. Corn was 5 to 7 cents higher, processor bids 5.69-7.51.
Soybeans were 1 to 18 cents lower, elevator bids 12.99-13.70, processor bid 14.00.
Wheat was steady to 16 cents higher, elevator bids 5.69-6.83, Columbia at 7.75.
Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was at 73.46, up 0.69.
