Cattle Receipts: 735 Last week: 1060 Last year: 1249
Compared to last week: Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls
steady on a light test. Feeder steers and bulls steady to 3.00 higher,
instances 5.00-6.00 higher. Feeder heifers mixed, generally steady to 3.00
lower.
Supply included about 473 feeder calves, 65 feeder yearlings, 60 replacement
cows, 129 slaughter cows, and 8 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 36
percent steers, 43 percent heifers, and 21 percent bulls. Near 12 percent of
the run weighed over 600 lbs. Prices follow with weighted average price in
parenthesis.
