Cattle Receipts: 285 Last week: 1714 Last year: 743
Compared to last week: Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 higher. Slaughter bulls near
steady on light test. Feeder steers and bulls steady to 9.00 higher, mostly
3.00-6.00 higher. Feeder heifers mixed, generally 1.00-2.00 higher on a light
test.
Supply included about 181 feeder calves, 40 feeder yearlings, 25 replacement
cows, 32 slaughter cows, 1 replacement bull and 6 slaughter bulls. The feeder
supply included 31 percent steers, 37 percent heifers, and 32 percent bulls.
Near 17 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Prices follow with weighted
average price in parenthesis.
