Valley Video Internet Timed Hay Auction
Wednesday and Thursday, March 13-14, 2013
2173 Ton Alfalfa Hay Offered
Compared to three weeks ago hay prices were steady to weak. Demand moderate to
good for hay offered that consisted of mostly third cutting alfalfa. This hay
auction was a two day timed offering where all buyers bid on the internet. All
sales were FOB the farm or ranch. Hay sold by the ton in semi-load lots on-line.
All hay has been tested with results available for each lot. Hay was consigned
from Wyoming, Nebraska, and Kansas. Hay offered was first through fourth
cutting, mostly third.
