   Compared with last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 2.00 
higher.  Trade and demand moderate. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00 higher, slaughter 
bulls not established. Best demand centered on long weaned calves and yearlings. 
Rains over the last couple weeks have benefitted grass pastures and wheat 
fields. Bulk receipts Medium and Large 1-2 400-800 lb. feeder steers and 
heifers. Slaughter cows and bulls made up 8 percent, 1 percent replacements and 
91 percent feeders. Feeder supply included 76 percent steers 
and bulls, 24 percent heifers. Approximately 79 percent of the run weighed over 
600 lbs.
