   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher 
on limited comparable sales.  Steer and heifer calves not well tested however a 
higher undertone was noted.  Demand was good especially on a few light weight 
conditioned calves available in the offering.  The area received moisture 
earlier in the week in the form of snow that quickly melted but boosted 
optimism.  Slaughter cows were steady to firm and slaughter bulls were not well 
established.  Slaughter cows and bulls made up 3 percent, 0 percent replacement 
and 97 percent feeders.  Feeder supply included 45 percent steers and bulls, 55 
percent heifers.  88 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.

   Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 211.00-221.00; few 637 lbs 154.00; 
few 679 lb calves 148.75; few 794 lbs 139.50; load 800 lbs 140.00; load 943 lbs 
135.00.
   Medium and Large 1-2 few 509 lbs 167.00; lot 867 lbs 133.50.
   Medium and Large 2 few 733 lbs 137.00; lot 862 lbs 132.25.
   Medium and Large 2-3 few 677 lbs 120.00; few 786 lbs 118.00.
