   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher 
on limited comparable sales.  Steer and heifer calves not well tested however a 
higher undertone was noted.  Demand was good especially on a few light weight 
conditioned calves available in the offering.  The area received moisture 
earlier in the week in the form of snow that quickly melted but boosted 
optimism.  Slaughter cows were steady to firm and slaughter bulls were not well 
established.  Slaughter cows and bulls made up 3 percent, 0 percent replacement 
and 97 percent feeders.  Feeder supply included 45 percent steers and bulls, 55 
percent heifers.  88 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
