weak to lower while loin cuts steady. Beef trimmings lower on light 
to moderate demand and moderate offerings.

  Estimated composite cutout value of Choice 1-3 600-900 lbs 
carcasses dn 1.44 at 185.32; Select 1-3 600-900 lbs carcasses 
dn 0.77at 180.25; based on 108.25 loads of Choice cuts, 50.77 
loads of Select cuts, 31.08 loads of Trimmings, and 36.96
loads of coarse ground trimmings.

CARCASS PRICE EQUIVALENT INDEX VALUE
    Estimated carcass price equivalent value of Choice 1-3 600-900 lbs 
carcasses dn 0.17 at 177.72; Select 1-3 600-900 lbs carcasses up 0.17

   Sales reported on 111.58 loads of pork cuts and 23.0 loads of 
trim/process pork.
    Compared to Wednesday's Close:  Fresh 1/4" trimmed bone-in 
Loins 2.00 lower; butts steady to 1.00 higher; sknd hams 
20-23 lbs 3.00 higher, 23-27 lbs. 1.00 higher; sdls bellies 
12-14 lbs firm, 16-18 lbs 5.00 higher, other weights not tested; 
lean trimmings steady to 1.00 lower. Trading moderate,
with mostly light demand on retail cuts on moderate offerings 
and mostly moderate demand on processing cuts on light to 
moderate offerings.

   *Calculations for a 200 lb Pork Carcass 53-54 percent lean
