Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 10/08/2012
 
Receipts:  1770    Two Weeks Ago:  3350    Year Ago:  9205
 
  Compared with two weeks ago steers traded steady to 3.00 lower
and heifers traded steady to 3.00 higher with 900 lb offerings 4.00
lower.  Demand was good with first freeze in area, with still no rain.
Receipts consisted of 56 percent steers, 44 percent heifers, with 100
percent weighing over 600 pounds. 1550 head of slaughter cows and
bull in addition to receipts today.
