Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers and Holstein
steers sold mostly 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00 to
2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls lightly tested. Trade was active and
demand good. Slaughter steers and heifers accounted for 77 percent of
the run; slaughter Holstein steers 6 percent; slaughter cows 15
percent; and slaughter bulls 2 percent.
