No recent sales with sufficient numbers to establish a trend for 
today's sale.  Many light to moderate fleshed steer calves were in 
town today for the annual "Sand Hills" special feeder calf sale. Few 
yearlings in the offering.  Most of todays calves were weaned with 
shots. Demand remained strong throughout the day. Included in 
today's offering were 70 percent steers, 29 percent heifers, and 1 
percent feeder bulls. 38 percent crossing the scale weighed over 600 
lbs.
