Receipts: 2014 Last Week: 1982 Year Ago: 2708
Compared with last Tuesday: Steers under 700 lbs steady to 2.00 higher with
the exception of 450-500 lbs 3.00 lower. Heifers under 500 lbs in a light test
mostly steady on the kind offered, 500 to 600 lbs steady to 3.00 higher, 600 to
700 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Yearling feeder steers and heifers over 700 lbs 3.00
to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls steady. Demand
moderate. Supply included 70 percent feeders, balance mostly slaughter cows and
bulls. In the feeder supply steers made up approximately 45 percent of the run,
heifers 55 percent. Offerings over 600 lbs 65 percent.
