Compared with last week: In a limited supply of Medium and Large 1 Steers 700-
900 lbs 3.00-5.00 higher; Heifers 700-900 lbs firm to 3.00 higher; Steers and
heifers 700 lbs and under not enough of any weight class for an accurate market
test, firm undertone noted. Trade very active, demand very good as buyers were
very aggressive for all weights and classes of feeder cattle. Feeder supply 56
percent steers and 44 percent heifers. Receipts 87 percent 600 lbs and over, 4
percent 600 lbs and under and 9 percent slaughter cows and bulls.
