Compared with last week: Steers 600-900 lbs firm to 1.00 higher; heifers 700-800 
lbs 2.50-3.50 higher; steers 600 lbs and under also heifers 700 lbs and under 
steady to firm. Trade very active and demand very good for true yearling cattle. 
Trade and demand moderate for calves, buyers continue to discount for excessive 
flesh, fill and calves fresh off the cows or short weaned.  Slaughter cows bulk 
of trade mostly steady, a few Boner cows firm to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 
not enough for a market test, bulk of supply mostly low-dressing.  Receipts: 70 
percent 600 lbs and over, 21 percent 600 lbs and under, 9 percent slaughter cows 
and bulls.  Feeder supply 63 percent steers and 37 percent heifers.
