Compared with last week: Steers 700-800 lbs firm to 1.00 higher; 800-850 lbs
weak to 1.00 lower; 850-1000 lbs 3.00 to mostly 4.00 lower; Heifers 650-800 lbs
firm to 1.00 higher; 800-900 lbs 1.00-3.00 lower, few 900-950 lbs steady. Steers
700 lbs and under also heifers 600 lbs and under, in a very limited supply firm
to 3.00 higher. Trade moderate to active, Demand moderate to good. Slaughter
cows steady. Slaughter bulls compared with last weeks limited receipts 3.00-5.00
higher. Receipts: 89 percent 600 lbs and over, 8 percent 600 lbs and under, 3
percent slaughter cows and bulls. Feeder supply 62 percent steers and 38
percent heifers.
