Corn Prices Finish The Year On Fire

The U.S. average corn price increased for the sixth consecutive month as prices climbed $0.39 to $4.94 per bushel. The average corn price is $1.05 above its 10 month average. North Dakota and Wisconsin posted the largest increases throughout the country. In North Dakota corn climbed $0.68 to $4.85 per bushel while in Wisconsin corn gained $0.65 to $5.02 per bushel.

The top corn producing states posted modest gains. In Illinois corn was up $0.28 to $4.90 per bushel, while in Indiana prices climbed $0.49 to $5.30 per bushel.
