Retail Beef Prices Decline, Ground Beef Up

The USDA released the latest retail meat prices for August on Friday. The report showed retail beef prices declined $0.035 falling to $3.944. Lean and extra lean ground beef prices increased by $0.063 to $3.574. Sirloin steak (Not choice or Prime) prices declined $0.098 falling to $4.833.
