Corn Open Interest Up For Sixth Consecutive Week

Corn open interest continued to climb to new heights this week as it increased 56,538 contracts. This is the sixth consecutive week that open interest has improved. Total long contracts improved by 43,325 contracts to 1,442,617 contracts.

Corn Open Interest Improves For Fifth Straight Week

Corn open interest climbed 7,496 contracts last week to 1,553,651 contracts, setting a new high for the year.

Soybean open interest dropped 3,155 contracts as it fell for the third consecutive week. Total long soybean contracts dipped 2.287 contracts.

Corn open interest declined by 28,285 contracts to 1,489,862 contracts, but still remains well above this year's low of 1,032,529 contracts. Total corn longs fell 25,140 contracts while total shorts decreased by 27,356 contracts.
