Feedstuff prices were mixed for the week. Demand moderate. Some ingredients
were higher finding support from the higher grain markets. Mill feeds were
lower as supplies are readily available.
SOYBEAN MEAL: 48 percent rail was steady to 1.00 higher from 426.90-430.90
per ton. 48 percent truck was 3.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 427.90-431.90 per
ton.
CORN BY-PRODUCTS: Corn Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge was steady
to 2.00 lower from 198.00-212.00 per ton; rail was steady to 10.00 higher from
190.00-220.00 per ton; truck was steady to 5.00 higher from 200.00-235.00 per
ton; weighted average was 3.37 higher at 208.74 per ton. RESTRICTED- OVER 20
PPB AFLATOXIN Corn Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge not available per
ton; rail was steady to 10.00 higher from 160.00-175.00 per ton; truck was
steady to 10.00 higher from 160.00-180.00 per ton; weighted average was 4.70
higher at 168.67 per ton; Total Combined Corn Gluten Feed Weighted Average was
3.25 higher at 203.85 per ton. Weighted average price based on the movement
volume by transportation method. Wet corn gluten feed 50-60 percent moisture
was steady to 4.00 lower from 90.00-111.00, mostly 90.00-105.00 per ton. 60
percent Corn Gluten Meal, FOB Midwest barge was 20.00-25.00 lower from 515.00-
630.00 per ton; rail was 25.00-30.00 lower from 515.00-650.00 per ton; truck was
20.00-30.00 lower from 580.00-680.00 per ton; weighted average was 23.54 lower
at 588.79 per ton. RESTRICTED-OVER 20 PPB AFLATOXIN Corn Gluten Meal 60
percent, FOB Midwest barge was not available per ton; rail was steady from
400.00-525.00 per ton; truck was not available per ton; weighted average was
steady at 462.50 per ton; Total Combined Corn Gluten Meal Weighted Average was
64 cents lower at 557.70 per ton. Weighted average price based on the movement
volume by transportation method. Hominy Feed, Central Illinois Point rail was
5.00 higher at 215.00 per ton; trucks were 5.00-10.00 higher from 220.00-250.00
per ton. Crude Corn Oil was 50 points higher from 51.50-52.50 cents per pound.
MILLFEEDS: Chicago was steady to 15.00 lower from 210.00-220.00 per ton;
Buffalo was steady to 10.00 lower from 205.00-210.00 per ton.
DISTILLER'S DRIED GRAINS: Eastern Corn-belt was 1.00-5.00 higher from
250.00-
275.00 per ton; Chicago area was 10.00-15.00 higher at 260.00-265.00 per ton;
Lawrenceburg, IN was not available per ton; Nebraska was 17.50-19.00 higher from
270.00-301.00 per ton; Minnesota was 5.00 higher from 243.00-253.00 per ton;
Kansas was steady to 5.00 higher from 265.00-285.00 per ton. Iowa was steady to
2.00 higher from 245.00-260.00 per ton. Northern Missouri was 2.00 to 6.00
higher from 254.00-262.00 per ton.
ALFALFA PELLETS: Toledo, Ohio 17 percent dehydrated were steady from 385.00-
395.00 per ton; meal was steady from 390.00-400.00 per ton, with 1/2 percent oil
from 391.00-401.00 per ton, and with 1 percent oil from 397.00-407.00 per ton.
