Feedstuff prices were mixed for the week. Demand moderate to good. Soybean
meal was lower due to the lower soy complex. April is around the corner and
ingredients are seeing some pressure as warmer temperatures near.
SOYBEAN MEAL: 48 percent rail was 24.60 lower from 420.60-426.60 per ton.
48 percent truck was 24.60-26.60 lower from 416.60-425.60 per ton.
CORN BY-PRODUCTS: Corn Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge was 2.00-
5.00 lower from 175.00-183.00 per ton; rail was steady to 5.00 lower from
185.00-215.00 per ton; truck was steady from 190.00-238.00 per ton; weighted
average was 1.73 lower at 202.78 per ton. RESTRICTED- OVER 20 PPB AFLATOXIN
Corn Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge not available per ton; rail was
steady from 155.00-175.00 per ton; truck was steady from 155.00-190.00 per ton;
weighted average was steady at 167.84 per ton; Total Combined Corn Gluten Feed
Weighted Average was 1.38 lower at 195.65 per ton. Weighted average price based
on the movement volume by transportation method. Wet corn gluten feed 50-60
percent moisture was steady to 4.00 lower from 80.00-111.00, mostly 85.00-111.00
per ton. 60 percent Corn Gluten Meal, FOB Midwest barge was steady to 30.00
lower from 530.00-580.00 per ton; rail was steady to 10.00 lower from 550.00-
620.00 per ton; truck was steady to 5.00 lower from 595.00-625.00 per ton;
weighted average was 5.93 lower at 586.30 per ton. RESTRICTED-OVER 20 PPB
AFLATOXIN Corn Gluten Meal 60 percent, FOB Midwest barge was not available per
ton; rail was steady from 410.00-500.00 per ton; truck was not available per
ton; weighted average was steady at 455.00 per ton; Total Combined Corn Gluten
Meal weighted average was 4.73 lower at 559.67 per ton. Weighted average price
based on the movement volume by transportation method. Hominy Feed, Central
Illinois Point rail was steady at 225.00 per ton; trucks were steady from 25.00-
235.00 per ton. Crude Corn Oil was steady from 46.50-48.50 cents per pound.
MILLFEEDS: Chicago was 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 215.00-230.00 per ton;
Buffalo was steady from 205.00-210.00 per ton.
DISTILLER'S DRIED GRAINS: Eastern Corn-belt was steady to 5.00 higher from
260.00-285.00 per ton; Chicago area was 5.00 lower from 260.00-265.00 per ton;
Lawrenceburg, IN was not available per ton; Nebraska was 1.00-5.00 lower from
259.00-270.00 per ton; Minnesota was steady from 255.00-260.00 per ton; Kansas
was steady from 280.00-300.00 per ton. Iowa was steady from 255.00-270.00 per
ton. Northern Missouri was steady to 5.00 lower from 270.00-278.00 per ton.
ALFALFA PELLETS: Toledo, Ohio 17 percent dehydrated were steady from 385.00-
407.00 per ton; meal was steady from 390.00-412.00 per ton, with 1/2 percent oil
from 391.00-413.00 per ton, and with 1 percent oil from 397.00-419.00 per ton.
