Daily National Grain Market Summary
Soybeans started the week with sharp losses following last week’s slide with
corn following along with modest losses and wheat holding slight gains. Timely
rains fell across the plains of Brazil and Argentina easing concerns with
soybean planting. Wheat contracts were slightly higher despite losses in beans
and corn and a stronger dollar as dry conditions in the Southern Plains is
causing concerns. Wheat closed unchanged to 2 lower. Corn traded mostly 4-8
cents lower. Soybeans closed 20-23 cents lower.
