Illinois Grain Prices in Country Elevators

This is Wednesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the 
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
  
Illinois country grain prices were higher on Wednesday afternoon, with soybean
futures sharply higher. Stronger soybean product values, especially soybean
meal, and the dry forecast for the South American soybean crop helped to push
soybean prices higher.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
bids were mostly steady to 1 cent higher at 7.15-7.36. Soybean bids were 17 to
20 cents higher at 14.26-14.46.
 
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 1 
to 3 cents higher at 7.24-7.42. Soybean bids were 19 to 25 cents higher at 
14.38-14.55.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were steady to 1 cent 
higher at 7.15-7.56. Soybean bids were 18 to 23 cents higher at 14.54-14.77. 
Wheat bids were up 4 to 5 cents at 7.78-7.93.
