South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was 6 to 7 cents higher.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 7 to 9 cents higher.
US 2 Red Wheat was steady to 7 cents higher.
New Crop Yellow Corn was 5 to 10 cents higher.
New Crop Yellow Soybeans were 19 to 24 cents higher.
New Crop US 2 Soft Wheat was 2 to 9 cents higher.
CORN: Country Elevators---6.40 and *5.23 at Kingstree; *5.13 at Lynchburg;
6.75 and *5.53 at Estill; Processors---No Bid at Orangeburg 1; 6.80 at
Orangeburg 2; 7.40 at Monetta; 7.30 and *5.86 at Sumter; 7.10 and *5.86 at
Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---No Bid at Anderson; 14.63 and *13.31 at Kingstree;
*13.06 at Lynchburg; No Bid at Orangeburg 2; 14.93 and *13.61 at Estill;
Processors---15.28 and *13.86 at Kershaw; Export---No Bid at Vance.
