South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was mostly 17 to 18 cents lower, one location 27 lower.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 8 to 17 cents lower.
US 2 Red Wheat was steady to 18 cents lower.
New Crop Yellow Corn was 7 to 12 cents lower.
New Crop Yellow Soybeans were 24 cents lower.
New Crop US 2 Soft Wheat was mostly 14 to 28 cents lower, one location 38 lower.
CORN: Country Elevators---6.22 and *5.06 at Kingstree; *5.01 at Lynchburg;
6.57 and *5.41 at Estill; Processors---No Bid at Orangeburg 1; 6.62 at
Orangeburg 2; 7.11 at Monetta; 7.12 and *5.64 at Sumter; 6.92 and *5.64 at
Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---No Bid at Anderson; 14.40 and *13.18 at Kingstree;
*12.93 at Lynchburg; No Bid at Orangeburg 2; 14.75 and *13.48 at Estill;
Processors---15.10 and *13.74 at Kershaw; Export---No Bid at Vance.
WHEAT: Country Elevators---*6.11 at Anderson; *5.86 at Kingstree; *5.64 at
