South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was 5 to 7 cents higher.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 1 to 18 cents lower.
US 2 Red Wheat was steady to 16 cents higher.
New Crop US 2 Yellow Corn was 3 to 4 cents higher.
New Crop US 1 Yellow Soybeans had too few bids to trend.
New Crop US 2 Red Wheat was 7 to 17 cents higher.
CORN: Country Elevators---5.69 at Kingstree; *5.93 at Lynchburg; 7.51 and *6.14
at Estill; Processors---7.50 at Orangeburg 2; 8.30 at Monetta; 8.18 and *6.34
at Sumter; 7.90 at Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---13.38 at Anderson; 12.99 at Kingstree; 13.49 at
Lynchburg; 13.23 at Orangeburg 2; 13.70 at Estill; Processors---14.00 at
Kershaw; Export---No bid at Mt. Pleasant.
WHEAT: Country Elevators---*7.44 at Anderson; 5.69 at Kingstree; *6.94 at
Lynchburg; 6.83 and *7.19 at Estill; Processors---No Bid at Orangeburg 2; *7.61
at Sumter; 7.75 at Columbia.
