South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was mostly 4 cents higher; one location 12 higher.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 6 to 7 cents higher.
US 2 Red Wheat had too few bids to trend.
New Crop US 2 Yellow Corn was mixed; 1 cent lower to 2 cents higher.
New Crop US 1 Yellow Soybeans were mixed; 3 cents lower to 1 cent higher.
New Crop US 2 Red Wheat was mixed; 1 cent lower to 32 cents higher.
CORN: Country Elevators---6.78 at Kingstree; *5.61 at Lynchburg; 7.27 and *5.82
at Estill; Processors---7.19 at Orangeburg 2; 7.99 and *6.32 at Monetta; 7.86
and *6.12 at Sumter; 7.59 at Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---13.24 at Kingstree; *12.03 at Lynchburg; 13.34 at
Orangeburg 2; 14.25 and *12.36 at Estill; Processors---14.25 and *12.52 at
Kershaw; Export---14.55 at Mt. Pleasant.
WHEAT: Country Elevators---*7.01 at Anderson; *6.31 at Lynchburg; *7.00
at Estill; Processors---No Bid at Orangeburg 2; *5.82 at Sumter; 7.75 at
Columbia.
