Kansas City Weekly Feedstuff Review
Truck bids per ton unless otherwise stated.
Feedstuff prices were mixed for the week. Demand moderate to good with
limited supplies available for some ingredients. Despite the declines most
feedstuff prices continue to trade at higher levels than a year ago.
Soybean meal, 48 percent was 7.90 lower from 348.90-355.90 per ton. Soybean
hulls were steady at 160.00 per ton. Soybean Hull Pellets were steady from
160.00-165.00 per ton. 41 percent Cottonseed Meal was steady from 275.00-280.00
per ton. Corn Gluten feed pellets were steady from 170.00-180.00 per ton. Corn
Gluten Meal 60 percent was steady to 10.00 higher from 570.00-590.00 per ton.
Kansas Interior Millfeeds, Rail was 9.00-10.00 lower from 163.00-168.00 per ton;
Trucks were 6.00 lower from 177.00-182.00 per ton. Hominy Feed (FOB KC
Northwest) truck was steady from 183.00-185.00 per ton; rail was steady from
177.00-180.00 per ton. Meat and Bone Meal was 24.00 higher at 310.00 per ton.
Feather Meal was steady from 385.00-425.00 per ton. Yellow Grease was 150-250
points higher from 40.00-40.50 per cwt. Alfalfa Meal was steady at 204.00 per
ton; Sun-Cured 15 percent pellets were 1.00 higher from 184.00-189.00 per ton;
Alfalfa Center of NE pellets, 17 percent were steady at 175.00 per ton; Meal
without oil was steady at 179.00 per ton; Hay prices were not available.
