On Thursday, the Census Bureau reported a crush totaling 154.9 million
bushels of soybeans in November. This crush figure was lower than the October
crush of 157.2 million bushels. Soybean oil stocks were slightly higher than
last month at 3.304 billion pounds. Soybean meal stocks were above trade
expectations, but below the October figure at 484.2 thousand short tons.
Weekly export sales figures for soybeans totaled 827,800 metric tonnes.
Traders had expected a range from 700,000 to 900,000 metric tonnes. Soybean
Meal sales totaled 113,500 metric tonnes, with soybean oil sales at 21,100
metric tonnes.
