South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was steady to 5 cents higher.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 7 to 10 cents higher.
US 2 Red Wheat had too few bids to trend.
New Crop US 2 Yellow Corn was mixed; 2 cents lower to 2 cents higher.
New Crop US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 1 to 2 cents lower.
New Crop US 2 Red Wheat was mixed; 2 cents lower to 1 cent higher.
CORN: Country Elevators---6.89 at Kingstree; *5.56 at Lynchburg; 7.30 and *5.78
at Estill; Processors---7.29 at Orangeburg 2; 7.95 and *6.27 at Monetta; 7.89
and *6.07 at Sumter; 7.74 at Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---13.82 at Anderon; 13.57 at Kingstree; *11.96 at
Lynchburg; 13.67 at Orangeburg 2; 14.50 and *12.26 at Estill; Processors---14.49 and
*12.47 at Kershaw; Export---14.80 at Mt. Pleasant.
WHEAT: Country Elevators---*6.65 at Anderson; *5.93 at Lynchburg; 6.04 and *6.84
at Estill; Processors---No Bid at Orangeburg 2; *5.77 at Sumter; 7.75 at
Columbia.
