Daily National Grain Market Summary

   Grains had wide swings with the USDA World Supply and Demand Report out 
Friday, as corn and wheat settled with modest gains and soybeans closing with 
modest losses.  Corn failed to post a limit move though contracts closed well 
off session highs. The Quarterly Stocks Report for corn for December totaled 
8.03 billion bushels which was below the lowest trade estimate.  U.S ending 
stocks came in at 602 million bushels with 300 mb increase in feed demand and 
200 mb decrease in exports.  Soybean production was just over 3 billion bushels 
which was comparable to trade estimates.  Wheat acres came in at 41.8 million 
acres which was below estimates.  Wheat closed mostly 10 cents higher.  Corn 
traded 8-10 cents higher.  Soybeans closed 6-9 cents lower.
