South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was 1 to 6 cents lower.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 18 to 26 cents higher.
US 2 Red Wheat had too few bids to trend.
New Crop US 2 Yellow Corn was 6 to 8 cents lower.
New Crop US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 8 to 12 cents higher.
New Crop US 2 Red Wheat was 5 to 18 cents lower.
CORN: Country Elevators---7.03 at Kingstree; *5.55 at Lynchburg; 7.33 and *5.78
at Estill; Processors---7.43 at Orangeburg 2; 8.03 and *6.27 at Monetta; 8.03
and *6.08 at Sumter; 7.88 at Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---No bid at Anderon; 13.90 at Kingstree; *12.10 at
Lynchburg; 14.00 at Orangeburg 2; 14.72 and *12.39 at Estill; Processors---14.72
and *12.59 at Kershaw; Export---15.12 at Mt. Pleasant.
WHEAT: Country Elevators---*6.54 at Anderson; *5.83 at Lynchburg; 5.96 and *6.87
at Estill; Processors---No Bid at Orangeburg 2; *5.78 at Sumter; 7.75 at
Columbia.
