U.S. steer prices increased by $1.30 to 99.30 per cwt just $1.70 shy of this year's high. Illinois posted the largest jump in steer prices, as steers climbed $4.00 to 98.50 per cwt. Florida steer prices fell this month $4.30 to 97.80 per cwt after setting a new yearly high in August.
