Do you support USDA’s animal disease traceability program that was revealed earlier this week?

It depends on how the program is written. Too often folks sell animals with mastitis or Johnes that would be great if could be stopped so others don't unknowingly end up with these animals. I was also involved in an antibiotic tissue residue issue where I believe the bob calves were mixed at the market due to a tag mix-up. The drug in question was not used on the producer's farm. If the program is written such that these issues are eliminated and not with undue burden on producers (because not everyone is honest) then I would have voted 'yes' instead of 'not sure'.
