The higher the fuel goes the lower the economy growth will be. Fuel makes practically every item that we use get more and more expensive. Thus hurting the growth of our economy.
You're right on mark, Paula. And it demonstrates the need for a diversified energy approach to our entire economy. Being so tied and beholden to oil is an addiction that must be broken. It drags our trade balance into huge deficits, transfers huge wealth from the U.S. to foreign governments, and creates the drag you note as prices for oil continue to climb.
I agree. We need to exert as much pressure as we can to get rid of this administration and put pressure on their successors to tap the resources we have. This will show OPEC that they do not control the US any more and cerate thousands of jobs for Americans.
