Should money be taken from conservation programs to pay for drought disaster assistance?

We cannot afford to lose more conservation dollars. While drought is a serious problem it's effects are short term compared to not funding conservation. Let's not go back 30 years and lose all the progress we have made in conservation.
Stop Government payments for taking land out of production. At a time when more available land is needed for grain production, it makes little common sense to pay someone not to grow a crop!!
