The controversy over raw milk sales in Wisconsin is far from over. While the legislature goes back to the drawing board after last month’s governor’s veto, the issue now becomes one for the state’s court system.

The Capital Times reports that on June 15, Dane County Circuit Judge Patrick Fiedler will decide whether the case filed by Grassway Organics Farm Store LLC, against the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection should be dismissed or if it has enough merit to move ahead.

This decision will have a huge impact on future raw milk sales in the state and which direction legislative action will take, according to the report.
