Agriland reports that the Ukranian Agribusiness Club (UCAB) said farmgate milk prices fell by 15 to 20% throughout Ukraine since the fighting began in mid-April. Russia banned dairy imports after Ukraine banned Russian food companies from selling in Ukraine.

Ukranian producers are also feeling effects of a 40% increase in soybean prices and 30% increase in corn. One UCAB expert says 100,000 head could be slaughtered soon if the situation doesn’t change.
