Calculate your silage bag capacity

A new spreadsheet is available to help you estimate the quantity of forage in a silage bag.

The spreadsheet, “Silage Bag Capacity Calculator,” was developed by Brian Holmes, agricultural engineer with the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Access the spreadsheet at the University of Wisconsin-Extension Team Forage web site. Once there, scroll down the list of Forage Resources until you get to the “Silage Bag Capacity Calculator” spreadsheet.
