A recent DAIReXNET webinar looks at lameness, hoof and leg issues in dairy cattle.

The webinar, “Lameness: from the inside out… and the outside in,” was presented by Ernest Hovingh, with the Department of Veterinary & Biomedical Sciences at Penn State University.

During the webinar, Hovingh explained what happens both inside and outside the foot and how they interact to cause lameness. He also discussed some of the main causes of lameness and reviewed ways to prevent production and well-being concerns.
