Milk quality video looks at Staph. aureus

A second episode in the University of Wisconsin Milk Quality video series, “Managing Mastitis: The Pathogen Series,” is now available. It focuses on diagnosis, transmission, treatment and control of mastitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus.

The series was launched to bring to light the various pathogens that cause mastitis on dairy farms. Each episode introduces a new pathogen and provides treatment and control recommendations for decreasing the risk of infection within dairy herds.
