PDPW dairy obstetrics and calf-care workshops

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin will be hosting a series of one-day workshops focusing on calf delivery and care.

Taught exclusively in Spanish with hands-on instruction, the upcoming Dairy Obstetrics Workshops and Calf Care Workshops will be held on dairy farms throughout Wisconsin.  Each event will be repeated three times throughout the state.

The Dairy Obstetrics Workshop will be held August 19, 20, and 21. Workers will be trained on the birthing process for the safe delivery of a healthy calf. More details and registration information can be found at

The Calf Care Workshop will be presented August 26, 27 and 28. Hands-on instruction will be provided on the skills necessary to get calves off to a healthy start in the first two weeks of life. More details and registration information can be found at

Attendees need not be from Wisconsin or members of PDPW to participate.
