The producer-funded Web site, which aims to educate the public about how America’s dairy producers care for their animals and the land to provide safe and nutritious dairy products, has undergone updates and renovations that will better allow producers and the industry to tell dairy’s story to consumers. The site remains the top search engine spot at Yahoo! and Google, with more than 3,000 external Web links. New features include:

  • A “day in the life” page in the “Life on the Farm” section that demonstrates how farmers work 24/7 to care for their animals and the land, and to manage their businesses
  • Fifteen dairy fact sheets to learn more about dairy’s benefits to consumers
  • Enhanced video that features producers, veterinarians, cooperative extension agents and associate professors explaining modern dairy farm practices
  • Additional producer spotlight features, where producers from across the country share their personal on-farm stories
