Regional dairy meetings focus on calf care

Last week, the first of several Indiana Regional Dairy Meetings took place. One of the presenters, Dr. David Cook, technical services/national accounts manager with Milk Products, focused on clearing the obstacles that hinder pre-weaned calf health.

His presentation included information on building immunity to disease through proper colostrum management, as well as ways to overcome scours and respiratory disease-causing pathogens.
