Four-State Dairy Nutrition and Management Conference coming soon

Dairy Extension teams from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin are collaborating to host the 2012 Four-State Dairy Nutrition and Management Conference, scheduled for June 13-14 at the Grand River Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

The agenda includes:

• “Recycled Manure Solids for Bedding – Does it Work?” by Marcia Endres, University of Minnesota
• “Pricing Homegrown and Purchased Forages” by Normand St. Pierre, Ohio State University
• “New Technologies to Improve Dairy Cattle Reproduction,” by Paul Fricke, University of Wisconsin

A pre-conference technical symposium on “Dealing with Uncertain Dairy Markets and High Feed Costs” also will take place the morning of June 13.
