Penn State heifer management workshop

A day-long heifer management workshop is being offered at several locations across Pennsylvania this winter.

The workshop, which will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in each of its planned locations, will cover:

  • Heifer nutrition and management
  • Health and vaccination programs
  • Reproduction and synchronization
  • Housing systems

Dates and locations are:

  • Feb. 23 – Franklin County (Chambersburg)
  • Feb. 28 – Blair County (Martinsburg)
  • March 1 – Bradford County (Troy)
  • March 6 – Mercer County (Mercer)
  • March 8 – Lancaster County (East Earl)
