Manage calves for optimal performance

Adequately caring for your calves and heifers today is important because they will be influencing your milking herd's performance in 2014.

At the Vita Plus Calf Summit 2012, Alex Bach with IRTA-ICREA in Barcelona, Spain, reminded producers that it's just as important to monitor calves and heifers as it is your production animals. Giving them the right care can lead to earlier calvings and better milk production.
