An article in the October, November, December 2012 issue of the Georgia Dairyfax takes a look at rumen-protected amino acids and their potential in dairy diets.

"To realize the full potential of this technology the production potential of the cows cannot be limited by facilities, lack of heat-stress abatement, management, cow comfort, or other factors," writes John Bernard, dairy scientist with the University of Georgia. "Adherence to good feeding management routines is essential."
