In “Week EIGHT: Taking Sterile Milk Samples & The California Mastitis Test,” milk-quality experts explain why strict aseptic procedures must be used when collecting milk samples for culturing. It also looks at the California Mastitis Test (CMT) as a simple, inexpensive way to detect unseen infections. Equipment and procedures are explained, as well as how to read a CMT Test and interpret the scores.
